Diana Dawn DIY Kit - Lightweight Felt

Embroider your own hat using a kit designed and built by Diana Dawn! 

Hat and supplies are provided, along with tips and an emailed instruction video. 

You choose:

- Hat: This lightweight felt kit uses dress weight, flexible wool felt hats available in a few colors of two styles. See the Heavyweight Felt kit for more options. These hats are one size fits most up to 58/59cm inner circumference and adjustable inside to tighten. 

- Design: Choose one of three designs: Moonbeam, Landscape, or Cactus.

- Colorway: Choose one of four colorways: Cool blues, Muted vintage, Bright vintage, and Pretty pastels.

Each embroidery design uses two types of stitches, both approachable for beginners. Creativity and experimentation beyond these is encouraged! Let's build a community and share our work through #dianadawndiy 

Each kit includes: hat, design stencil, 4 embroidery floss colors in full skeins, 4 of my favorite needles, 1 thimble, 1 needle threader, 1 chalk pencil, and a few tips and tricks from me. All you need to provide is scissors. 

*Moonbeam design pictured is an example using the sky blue lightweight hat and the Cool blues embroidery color choice.

*Landscape design pictured is an example using the ivory hat available in the Heavyweight Felt kit and the Bright vintage embroidery color choice.

*Cactus design pictured is an example using the rust hat available in the Heavyweight Felt kit and the Muted vintage embroidery color choice.
